Listen to what Hope in Motion Prosthetic Support Group Members are saying.
I began attending monthly Prosthetic Support Group meetings shortly after first receiving my prosthetic leg. I was made to feel comfortable immediately as everyone was friendly, candid, and helpful. I had many questions, mostly regarding logistical issues of dealing with life’s daily challenges and situations. Individual members offered and discussed various pearls of wisdom and experience. I’ve found the tips to be invaluable. Now nearly a “veteran” at three years, I am able to contribute to helping new amputees, while continuing to benefit from the insights of other members of the group. I consider myself fortunate to be able to attend meetings of the group, now called “Hope in Motion”, on a regular basis and would recommend it to any and all amputees.

Since our beginning meetings, Hope in Motion has provided all of us an opportunity to grow and deal with our handicap, but more importantly it has given each of us the chance to help and support each other and make a meaningful contribution to the quality of life of our friends and ourselves. I think we have all had lasting benefits from the relationships that have been formed here.
