Sailing Trip to Lake Erie
One of our favorite group outings was our sailing trip, where members proved that no boundary is too great for hope and motion.
We are a dedicated support group reaching out to people with limb loss to empower one another through education, support, and advocacy.
Hope in Motion is more than just a support group; it's a safe space where shared journeys turn into collective strength.
If you have undergone an amputation or are anticipating an amputation in the near future, we have something positive and meaningful to offer you.
We provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere where you are encouraged to talk with others regarding your everyday struggles and accomplishments.
Our mission is simple: To reach out to people with limb loss and empower one another through education, support, and advocacy.
We meet once a month in New York City and Buffalo. Our meetings are open to amputees, their families, and anyone considering a prosthetic.
I was made to feel comfortable immediately as everyone was friendly, candid, and helpful. I had many questions, mostly regarding logistical issues of dealing with life’s daily challenges. I consider myself fortunate to be able to attend meetings regularly and would recommend it to any and all amputees.
Hope in Motion has provided all of us an opportunity to grow and deal with our handicap, but more importantly it has given each of us the chance to help and support each other and make a meaningful contribution to the quality of life of our friends and ourselves.

We need YOU to attend. Without YOU and your loved ones, we cannot have a support group.
Please try attending a meeting and learn the ways you could benefit from our monthly sessions.
Whether you have questions about our meetings, want to share your story, or need support, we'd love to hear from you.
